CS2 Crosshair Code Converter (Old → New)
Getting “Invalid or old crosshair code” in CS2? Paste your old CSGO-… code or cl_crosshair config and get a working code for the September 2026 pixel crosshair — free.
Old sizes scaled with your screen height, so pick the resolution you play at (e.g. 1280×960 → 960).
Converted: 4px long, 1px thick, 2px gap at 1080p.
New CS2 share codeThe conversion uses CS:GO’s original drawing math, so it can be off by a pixel — use the generator to nudge it.

Why did my CS2 crosshair code stop working?
On 22–24 September 2026 Valve rebuilt the CS2 crosshair: sizes are now real pixels at your screen height, there are 9 styles (including Dynamic Quad and Static Square) and share codes got a new format. Every code made before the update is rejected with “Invalid or old crosshair code”.
How the conversion works
In the old system, length and thickness were 1/480ths of your screen height and the gap was 4 + gap pixels. We turn those into pixels at the resolution you pick, map the old style to its new equivalent, keep your colour, dot, T-style and outline, and write a new share code that includes your screen height so CS2 can rescale it.
How to import the new code in CS2
Settings → Crosshair/Scopes → Share or Import → paste the CSGO-… code → Import. Or open the console (~) and paste the commands.
